The company was formed in 1968 by Michael Carr and Brian Pickett. Initially the work was with Total Oil UK and we went on to carry out numerous pipework installations for all the major supermarkets as they ventured into the petroleum market. The company progressed successfully and in 1998 our Senior Engineer Nick Cook who had been with the company for twenty one years was given the opportunity to take over the company after the retirement of the two previous owners.
Since then the company has progressed to being awarded a nationwide contract from Exxon Mobil for all pipework installations , including Ireland. To achieve this we have had to achieve a DNV accreditation ,which is one of the foremost Health and Safety systems in the world. Further contracts have followed with Shell Oil Co., and BP UK Ltd. and several privately owned garages. We are able to offer a national service and have also carried out works in Southern Ireland.
In December 2012 Tom Bindley our then Senior Engineer who had been with the company for twenty five years became Managing Director ,carrying on the continuity and high standards of the company.
We have a very comprehensive Health & Safety policy and all our engineers are fully trained and qualified for work in confined spaces and trained in First Aid .We have achieved DNV status for the last fourteen years and regard this as a very pro-active safety management system .We are one of only three pipefitting companies in the UK to have achieved this standard and are always looking for ways to improve. We have been given numerous safety awards and commendations over the past years which recognises our achievement in this field.
